Free Kids Apron Tutorial by Bunbury

This project was inspired by my sweet niece. For her 9th birthday I decided to make her an apron because she loves to bake and cook. However, I was down to the wire and I did not want to reinvent the wheel. So, I went online in search for a pattern. Needless to say, I could not find one I liked or one in her size so, I had to reinvent the wheel. The apron is adjustable and will fit a girls size 6-9 years old.

Hedgehog PJ Bag Sewing Project

This project was inspired by a doll that my childhood friend Becky had growing up. It's funny the little things you can remember. Becky's doll was special in that she could stuff her PJ's into her and she became a nice plush doll that sat on her bed. I liked the concept of stuffing the Pj's away and not having to fold them into a drawer each morning. Plus, the doll was so cute!

Kitty PJ Pillow Tutorial

I recently made a PJ stuffy for my niece using the Melly & Me Wild Flower Meadow panel. You can find the post here. I decided to make something similar for her sister so, I came up with the Kitty PJ Pillow. It has a small pillow insert with enough room to stuff her PJ's in. I didn't want to reinvent the wheel so, I used Purlsoho free City Gym Short Tutorial, and made two coordinating pj shorts.

Bible Book Bag Tutorial

Hello! Here is a useful little book bag I created for my Bible. It's probably the first thing I actually made for myself (that was not clothing). I only seem to make things as gifts. I did make a few of these. I gave one to my mom for her birthday and one for my mother-in-law for Christmas. The tote has an interior pocket for tissues, mints etc.. and a pen pocket to hold highlighters and pen for note taking. I also included small notebooks and a prayer journal. This tote is the perfect size to keep everything together for your devotional time with Jesus and for taking to church.

Marty Goes to Mars

Marty Goes to Mars is an adorable new collection for boys. This collection is all about a boy who visits mars and meets friendly aliens. The Story begins with Marty blasting off into space and flying among plants, stars and solar systems. He meets and makes friends with aliens as they show him around mars and then at last he must say good bye and fly home. This collection would make adorable quilts, pillowcases, bibs, bags, and apparel for boys.

Make a matching Marty Doll with Wee Wonderfuls Spaceboy Sewing Pattern or Alien with Melly and ME Sewing Pattern, I Come in Peace.

Take a look at the spaceboys I made for my two boys. They love to pretend play with these just as they fall asleep each night. I'm sure they have visited strange new planets and meet friendly creatures in their dreams.

Until next time, Thank you for reading and we hope this inspires you to make something beautiful.
